ODZALA
A sound journey into the rainforest
The African national park "Odzala" is one of the most species-rich rainforests in the world. Experience the nocturnal soundscape of Odzala in breathtaking 360° sound under the African starry sky in the planetarium hall. Listen to the unsurpassed sound orchestra of nature: countless iridescent chirping insects, a frog concert, the deep roar of a nearby herd of elephants, the diverse songs of birds at dawn. The countless timbres, rhythms and melodies of untouched nature - recorded at various locations in the deepest rainforest - surround us as real as if we were there ourselves.

"The listening experience designed by Mr. Kamp, especially in combination with the starry sky, is a fascinating experience that literally transports you to another place."
Dr. Monika Staesche, Deputy Chairman of the Berlin Planetarium Foundation
This immersive, spatial sound experience is the essence of over 100 hours of multi-channel sound that David Kamp recorded over several weeks at various locations in the Odzala rainforest in the Congo.
Odzala had its sold-out premiere and regular dates at the Zeiss Großplanetarium Berlin, Germany's largest planetarium. Now the journey continues to other planetariums!
